From the 4th till the 6th of September we travelled to Scotland for the 3rd PocketQube workshop. The workshop was held in Delft the two previous times and came this year for the first time to Glasgow. PocketQubes are satellites that are even smaller than CubeSats with the edge length of just 5cm. As the satellites are so small, deployables structures like the ones Deployables Cubed is developing are a means to greatly enhance the performance of these satellites. To inform the PocketQube community how the Deployables Cubed actuators and deployables can help them to get more out of their tiny satellite, we displayed our work as a poster as well as an oral presentation within the conference. The PocketQube community is a very welcoming group of space enthusiast and we are excited that we were able to set up multiple collaborations. As always, we had a great time in Glasgow and we are very much looking forward to the next workshop in Glasgow.
